Hooyman joined OwnersEdge in January 2026, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in employee-owned businesses. As CFO, he plays a critical role in supporting the organization's financial performance, acquisition strategy, technology initiatives and long-term growth, with a focus on creating lasting value for its more than 400 employee owners.

“John has made a significant impact at OwnersEdge in a short time, as I expected he would,” said Rob Dillon, CEO of OwnersEdge. “He pairs financial rigor with strategic thinking, but his contribution goes well beyond the numbers. He is an exceptional teammate, thought partner and people leader who understands how culture drives performance. John’s selection as a Titan 100 honoree is well-deserved, recognizing his leadership throughout his career and his impact on people and organizations.”

Prior to joining OwnersEdge, Hooyman held leadership roles at Direct Supply and Kesslers Diamond Center, where he helped advance financial strategy, operational performance, technology initiatives and employee ownership culture. He also founded an ESOP CFO Roundtable Network that brings together financial leaders from employee-owned businesses to exchange ideas, share best practices and strengthen the broader ESOP community.

Hooyman serves on the Board of Directors of National Van Lines, an employee-ownedJohn Hooyman-1 company, and regularly participates in industry conferences and professional development initiatives. In 2022, he was recognized as a Milwaukee-area Notable CFO.

“Employee ownership has shaped my career and my approach to leadership,” said Hooyman. “I believe the most meaningful measure of success is the opportunity we create for others to grow, contribute and share in the value they help build. I'm honored to receive this recognition and grateful to work alongside so many talented people who share that commitment.”
